About the role

The Department 36398 Davie Medical Center - Radiology is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist, Benefits Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and operates radiographic equipment effectively and efficiently while under the supervision and/or direction of staff technologists and supervisors.
• Adheres to radiation exposure regulations and practices to ensure adequate radiation protection.
• Ensures accurate patient records via correct data entry, validation and archival of images.
• Provides age-developmental appropriate care in accordance with Age-Developmental Specific Guidelines for the age groups served when participating in patient care.

Requirements

• Currently in the second year of the Radiologic Science Program.
• One year of training in the Radiologic Science Program.
• LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION: Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

• Able to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient care.
• Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to prioritizing of patient needs.
• Adaptable to changing work schedules.

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Hours will vary according to departmental needs and student availability.
