About the role
The imaging technician student is involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for and/or performing ultrasound examinations for diagnosis of patients. Travel to other Velocity Care locations.
Responsibilities
- Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
- Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality radiographs under direct supervision of a registered technologist.
- Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.
- Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.
Requirements
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in 3rd or 4th quarter of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Experience: Letter of support from Program Director.
- Minimum Qualifications: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.

Pay
$15.00 - $21.07 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
