Imaging Student Tech PRN

Job Summary

As an Imaging Student Extern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience by learning from experienced team members who are committed to your growth. You will contribute to the care team by preparing patients for imaging, safely transporting them, setting up imaging rooms, and serving as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team.

Qualifications

• 2 semesters completed within an Imaging Program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support

What You Will Need

Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, ensuring their comfort and emotional needs are met during procedures. Safely transport patients between areas. Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by promptly communicating needs and concerns. Participate in learning opportunities and follow safety and confidentiality standards.
