• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Retrieve, prepare, scan and index laboratory requisition forms daily.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.

Location

LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801

HOURS: 11:00pm - 7:30am; Monday - Friday and alternate Saturdays

FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible

HOURLY RATE: $18.15/hr

Requirements

• You have high school diploma or equivalent.
• You have previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• You have strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• You can operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
• You must be able to lift 50 lbs.
