Responsibilities

• Receive patients, collect demographic and insurance information, verify insurance coverage and authorization for services, and accurately enter data into multiple computer systems for completion of the Imaging Services outpatient admission process.
• Discuss financial responsibility with patients, maintain accurate patient account information, verify insurance, and obtain authorizations/referrals.
• Learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment.
• Respond to physicians, patients, and families with empathy, respect, and understanding.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy preferred.
• Minimum one year of office/reception experience required, preferably in a health‑care setting (Imaging Services Rep I).
• Imaging Services Rep II: three years of experience in the ISR I position or equivalent experience.

Licensure / Credentials

None required.

Pay

Salary range: $21.33 – $29.45 per hour. Union: UFCW 3000 – Support Services.

• Evening shift differential: $3.00/hour
• Night shift differential: $5.00/hour
• Weekend shift differential: $4.50/hour
• Standby premium: $3.50/hour
• Lead premium: $3.25/hour
• Per Diem: 15% of base (in lieu of benefits)
