Imaging Paramedic Part Time Nights

Shift

Monday-Thursday 10pm-5:30am

Sign On Bonus

$5,000 for eligible applicants

Relocation Bonus

$1,500 for eligible applicants

Identifies, Intervenes, and Stabilizes Patients During Transport

• Under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols
• Consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines

Provides Direct Medical Care During Transport

• Consistent with EMS medical protocols and guidelines
• Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols
• Manages ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) during transport
• Administers approved medications and narcotics consistent with EMS medical protocols
• Infuses blood products consistent with EMS medical protocols
• Performs all required procedures consistent with EMS medical protocols

Maintains Patient Conditions and Treatments

• Makes sure to monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and treatments as appropriate

Edutes Patients and Family Members

• Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions

Maintains Equipment Safety

• Inspects and maintains equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the public

Completes and Submits Patient Care Reports

• Completes and submits patient care reports (ePCR) in charting software consistent with state requirements

Operates Emergency Vehicles Safely

• Communicates delays and updates to dispatch
• Reports any vehicle issues to the supervisor

Other Duties As Assigned

• Performs other duties as assigned

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ experience emergency vehicle operations [Preferred]
• Ambulance transport experience [Preferred]

Additional Information

• Must complete a 16-hr emergency vehicle operations training program

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]
• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) [Required]
• OR Driver's License (DL) [Required]
• Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) [Preferred]
• Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) [Preferred]

Pay Range

$21.56 - $40.09

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
