Imaging Office Coordinator PRN

About the role
As the Imaging Office Coordinator, you will join a team that delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. You will provide secretarial and administrative support to the radiology department, including patient scheduling, registration, recordkeeping, telephone and office reception, and routine office duties. You will help manage and coordinate each patient’s experience during their time in the radiology department.
- Perform lead duties, directing the work of radiology secretaries and other clerical staff.
- Ensure all required documentation for each procedure is present before the exam begins.
- Utilize effective reception skills to ensure high patient satisfaction by acknowledging patients and visitors, and answering phones in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist with training new technologists and student technologists in department procedures related to the radiology office.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One (1) year of experience in a medical office environment preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- Competence with computer systems is required.
- Fluent in medical terminology preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills required.
