Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select exposure factors accurately.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepare for and assist the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• High school diploma or equivalency, OR enrolled in an accredited program specific to discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrolled in 2nd semester of an accredited radiology program.
