About the Role

Provide a full range of comprehensive breast imaging services to Allegheny Health Network facilities, including diagnostic and screening mammography with tomosynthesis, breast ultrasonography, and breast MRI and their respective breast biopsies/procedures.

AHN facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, a user-friendly PACS system, and an expansive in-house IT department available to help 24/7.

Robust abbreviated MRI program.

Multidisciplinary tumor board is scheduled weekly fostering strong collaboration with AHN Breast Surgeons and Oncologists.

Most biopsies at AHN are performed using HydroMARK clips, and most localizations are performed using Magseeds.

Pay

  • Compensation Overview
  • Salary Range $420,000-$1,100,000
  • Competitive base salary with additional compensation for value-based care and academic productivity, onsite coverage, and clinical productivity
  • Reasonable wRVU requirements with opportunity for incentive over target RVU expectation (based on years of experience)
  • 9,754-11,401 Signing and starting bonus eligibility

Qualifications

  • Meet all requirements of the Mammography Quality Standards Act
  • Completion of ACGME approved Radiology Residency
  • Completion of ACGME approved Breast Imaging Fellowship
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required
  • For on-site/hybrid positions
  • Opportunities to participate in the residency and medical student training programs
  • Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
