Imaging Flow Coordinator

About the Role

Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. As our new Imaging Flow Coordinator, you will coordinate patient flow in the imaging department and provide clerical support to assigned staff and leaders by maintaining a professional and organized office. We have a passion for creating positive patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient location and lab results when applicable.
• Arrange transportation when needed.
• Assist in assigning internal transport of patients, imaging room turnover, and technologist assisting.
• Coordinate activities of the department.
• Perform clerical duties including typing, photocopying, faxing, incoming and outgoing correspondence, phone calls, receiving guests, visitors, and customers.
• Responsible for copies of patient imaging records.
• Monitor daily procedure schedule to ensure radiologist coverage efficiently.
• Assist with Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation charging and documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology knowledge.
• 6 months to 1 year of hospital/Imaging experience.
• Licensed/Certification as CNA, EMT, or MA preferred.
• Training preferred in Transport, Medtech, or Radiologic Technologist Aide.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
• PC skills.
