Imaging Assistant - PRN

About the Role

Provides direct patient care consistent with the established standard of practice, the goals of Mercy, and the Mercy Code of Conduct. Responsible for supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning, and patient care in Imaging Services as needed. Performs related duties as assigned and duties in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Manage supplies, stocking, and equipment cleaning in Imaging Services.
• Assist with patient care as needed.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Capability to lift, move, and transport patients.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
• Proficiency in recognizing emergency situations and adapting to stressful scenarios.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
