Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. The hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric, and critical care services. In March 2012, the Cotton Family Birth Center was designated a Baby-Friendly® birth center by Baby-Friendly USA. The hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements, and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches.
About the role
Under direct supervision, the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department, including operating blanket warmers and disposing of soiled linen and carts. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and follow Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- 2 years of patient care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire
