Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient information prior to procedure.
• Completes all relevant patient paperwork after procedure.
• Assist technologists with moving patients from stretcher/wheelchair to procedure table utilizing proper body mechanics.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Retrieve medication from pharmacy and/or storage area, and delivers to licensed staff member as instructed.
• Assist with patient preparation for procedures.
• Perform clerical work as needed, including answering and transferring phone calls, and recording and relaying accurate messages in a timely manner.
• Operate computer systems effectively with sufficient knowledge base to avoid errors.
• Monitor department and individual procedure rooms to assess availability of supplies.
• Restocks to optimum levels as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical setting is preferred.
• Medical Terminology & Computer Skills.
• Currently enrolled in advanced education courses including courses in Radiology, Nursing, or related field (strongly preferred).

Pay

Hourly wage estimate: $14.83 - $20.77 per hour.
