Imaging Assistant
Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing various tasks which support the daily patient flow and operations of the Radiology Services Areas. Tasks include transporting patients to and from ED and other areas when needed, delivering oral contrast to patients' nurses, cleaning and stocking procedure rooms, preparing associated paperwork, etc. Radiology Technical Associates shall not operate equipment that emits ionizing radiation.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to interact with patients, physicians and personnel in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner
- Capable of functioning with initiative and independent judgment
- Problem solving skills
- Able to hear and follow verbal and/or written instructions
