Imaging Aide / Nights | SVH

About the Role

This position provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures.
• Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%)
• Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up, and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%)
• Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data in electronic medical records, and managing import/export through appropriate means and methods. (20%)
• Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%)
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in a medical office or imaging office setting.

• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
