With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled geospatial and remote sensing analyst can turn that data into mission-critical information. As a geospatial and remote sensing analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll work with a team of analysts to extract meaning and context from a variety of data sources. Using resources like SOCET GXP and iSpy, you’ll develop new ways to find patterns and connections to answer our Army's needs. You’ll leverage satellite and airborne remote sensing solutions, analyze data to assess meaning and potential intent, and provide geospatial solutions for priorities like infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence. Your geospatial skills will be used to produce formal reports ensuring decision-makers have the timely information they need. Turn data into knowledge to support warfighters and protect national security.

Responsibilities

  • Apply space-based GEOINT and photogrammetric principles, techniques, and analytic modeling
  • Conduct Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline reporting
  • Utilize object-based production (OBP), structured observation management (SOM), and activity-based intelligence (ABI)
  • Analyze and interpret geospatial data from U.S. Government and commercial satellite capabilities, including tasking, collection processes, and protocols
  • Collaborate with GEOINT analysts to deconstruct problems and develop effective analysis and collection approaches
  • Use GEOINT software such as RemoteView, SOCET GXP, or ArcGIS
  • Produce formal reports and present intelligence information via multimedia presentations and written reports

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography with 15+ years of experience in Intelligence Analysis including GEOINT Analysis, or
  • Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography with 10+ years of experience in Intelligence Analysis including GEOINT Analysis, or
  • Doctorate degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography with 5+ years of experience in Intelligence Analysis including GEOINT Analysis

Skills

  • Knowledge of GEOINT Army, National System for GEOINT (NSG), or Intelligence Community (IC) policies
  • Experience with commercial visualization software (nice to have)
  • Experience with non-traditional GEOINT data sources (nice to have)
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of tools (nice to have)
  • Experience with data analytics and COTS statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or MATLAB (nice to have)
  • Ability to collaborate with partners across the IC and DoD on technical or substantive topics (nice to have)
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (nice to have)
  • GPC-II Imagery Certification (nice to have)

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work models include:

  • Remote: Primarily remote work, with occasional in-person requirements at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with possible visits to customer facilities as needed.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with direct collaboration required.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
