Responsibilities
- Apply advanced tradecraft in complex or novel situations and support intermediate and advanced GEOINT Tradecraft learning events.
- Be able to demonstrate extensive understanding of advanced concepts and skills by applying them in complex or novel situations.
- Apply deep tradecraft-specific skills in scenario-based learning events, and exams.
- Bring analysts of different GEOINT tradecrafts together in these learning events/exams, requiring understanding of how other GEOINT tradecrafts and multiple intelligence sources may be applied to address problems for today's policymakers, warfighters, and other federal agencies.
- Provide subject matter expertise in imagery analysis tradecraft, imagery exploitation, scenario-based analysis, and GEOINT problem solving using imagery-derived information.
- Deliver GEOINT tradecraft instruction for NGC courses and learning events.
- Maintain and update courseware, exercises, exams, and supporting learning materials.
- Support development and implementation of new GEOINT learning solutions.
- Apply mission-relevant tradecraft in scenario-based and problem-based learning events.
- Cook up and coordinate with course managers, learning developers, instructors, and government stakeholders.
- Support NGC governance, policy, partnerships, and special projects within the scope of GTLSS.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Imagery Analysis).
- Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of the Imagery Analysis tradecraft, methodology, and technology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience delivering learning content to adult learners in a classroom setting.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must possess a current Top Secret / SCI Personnel Security Clearance.
- Subject to counter-intelligence polygraph requirements and Intelligence Oversight rules.
Qualifications
- Deep tradecraft experience and ability to teach advanced concepts to experienced analysts.
- Ability to build realistic scenario-based learning and evaluate applied performance.
- Ability to connect specialty to other GEOINT tradecrafts and intelligence sources.
