ILM Archiving consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior ILM & Archiving Consultant to join our team of analytical and critical thinkers. You will be instrumental in architecting and leading implementations of enterprise-level SAP Archiving solutions. The role involves defining problems, proposing solutions, and driving projects from requirements gathering through design, implementation, and post go-live activities.

This position requires daily collaboration with business representatives and technical leaders, demanding strong client-facing experience and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer’s current archiving strategy and verify scope within the SAP Landscape.
• Perform database analysis to identify and formulate proposed archiving roadmaps.
• Lead ILM workshops to present findings to key stakeholders.
• Configure ILM Archiving Objects for Blocking, Archiving, Reporting, Retrieval, and/or Deletion across various modules, including Read programs, Archive Information Structures (AIS), DRB views, and other SAP-standard reports.
• Schedule and execute Catch-Up and Ongoing Archiving runs, review results, and optimize where required.
• Retain an overall view of project implementation to ensure quality results.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of archiving experience.
• 3 years of ILM experience.
• End-to-end implementation of at least 3 ILM Archiving projects.
• Strong customer service skills.
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the implementation, customization, and configuration of ILM technologies.
• Experience with business processes such as purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash (others are a benefit).

Qualifications

• Any business or technical graduate degree (essential).
• BSc in Computing (desirable).
