Through Reliant, we provide missionaries with the resources, training, and support needed to thrive in their calling, including the critical process of raising financial and prayer support. About the role

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making disciples and sending them out into the world as missionaries. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is committed to God's Glory, Ways, and Mission at Illinois State University and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Engage and grow in understanding God’s glory (theology)
• Disciple the next generation to make disciples for their lives
• Practice evangelism as part of the normal Christian life
• Support and guide missionaries through the assessment process
• Participate in local interviews and decision/discernment meetings
• Assist in raising financial and prayer support for missionaries

Requirements

• Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and His teachings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for campus ministry and community engagement
• Experience in a similar role or relevant field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., theology, religious studies, education)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in campus ministry or related field
• Pass a background check

• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
• Knowledge of campus culture and dynamics
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
