About the role
The Campus Minister for Faith & Community Life is a 12-month position responsible for developing and overseeing faith-related opportunities for undergraduate students.
Responsibilities
- Support and supervise student coordinators, working with retreat leaders to lead retreats
- Coordinate Residence Hall Ministry in first-year halls, supervising Peer Ministry Advisors
- Serve on the Cortina Advisory Board to support sophomores
- Coordinate Agape Latte, a monthly speaker event inviting students to hear from campus leaders and reflect on their faith
- Oversee programs supporting students from other religious traditions, including a weekly Protestant-Christian service and Bible study
- Collaborate with the Campus Ministry team and the Division of Mission and Ministry to assist emerging adults in their faith development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in theology, pastoral studies, ministry or related field required
- Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of ministerial experience preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations of students
Qualifications
- Strong written and communication skills
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Jesuit mission
- Highly collaborative work ethic, comfortable delegating tasks
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter

- Knowledgeable about and able to contribute to the Jesuit mission
