IL Floor Care

Job Duties

• Maintain a clean and fresh environment for residents and visitors.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas of campus.
• Vacuuming, mopping, extracting, removing trash.
• Completing work orders assigned.
• Performs any of the essential floor care duties.
• Ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned according to schedule.
• Performs cleaning duties in assigned areas.
• Always follow safety regulations and always follow established infection control and chemical safety protocol.
• Cleans and maintains assigned work areas and equipment.
• Ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned according to schedule.
• Maintains and ensures resident items are taken care of and cleaned as necessary.
• Ensures that all documentation and check lists are competed daily as assigned.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions assigned.
• Completes various side jobs as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift and twist.
• Must be able to follow and read instructions to fulfill assigned duties.
• Must be able to push and pull various floor care equipment.
• Must be able to lift a weight of up to 50 pounds.
