IHT Internship opportunity - In-Home Therapy Program – Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative

About the role

Family Service Association offers paid internship opportunities for second year Master’s Degree- MA, MSW, LICSW, LCSW or LMHC (or license eligible) students enrolled in an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive family therapy to youth aged 0-20 and their caregivers in their home.
• Work as part of a team consisting of a clinician and a bachelor’s level Therapeutic Training and Support staff, who assist in implementing the treatment plan and coordinating care.
• Receive ongoing supervision from an LICSW or LMHC and support from the In-Home Therapy (IHT) team to ensure learning goals are met.
• Utilize the principles of the evidence-based model, Wraparound, to ensure families are directing their treatment and their voices are heard.

Requirements

• Flexible working hours, including late afternoon/early evenings and possibly weekends, to meet the clinical needs of the children and families.
• Work 16-20 hours per week with a billable expectation of 12-15 hours per week.
• Engage and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and be willing to work with SED populations.
• Must be CANS certified.

Qualifications

Enrolled in second year of Master’s Degree- MA, MSW, LICSW, LCSW or LMHC (or license eligible) program from an accredited school.
