About the role
Provides support to families with children, youth, and adults in a home or community setting. Works with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders.
Responsibilities
- Supports families in crisis situations
- Provides counseling and guidance to children and their families
- Facilitates family therapy sessions
- Assists in developing and implementing family support plans
Requirements
- Masters Degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting
- At least 3 years of experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with trauma-informed care
- Knowledge of child development and behavior
