IHBS Therapist

About the role

Provides support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Works with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions
• Develop and implement family therapy interventions
• Coordinate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Assess and monitor client progress
• Participate in case conferences

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience working with children, youth, and families
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of child development and behavior
