About the role
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a travel consultant. This role involves in-person marketing with prospective and/or current owners within our resorts. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as a positive and professional brand ambassador, partnering with resort staff to receive arrival sheets, greeting and presenting prospective customers, screening and qualifying potential customers, making sales-tour reservations, and collecting required deposits.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations
- Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
- Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
- Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
- Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
- Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually
Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
- Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, but not required
- Maintain production standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- No travel required outside of the home site’s area
- Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement

Compensation
The hourly rate for this role is $15.16 - $15.16 plus commissions and bonuses.
