IGA Operations Associate

About the role

The IGA Operations Associate - Information Security supports the Information Security team to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of identity and privileged access security controls. This role is part of the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) team at Cboe Global Markets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support enterprise Identity Governance and Access Management security solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Administer and troubleshoot accounts, roles, and permissions in Active Directory / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), enterprise and SaaS applications, and SSO/MFA platforms.
• Resolve escalated access issues requiring deeper directory, identity, or workflow knowledge.
• Support onboarding and offboarding for privileged accounts or sensitive roles.
• Ensure operational activities follow internal security policies and relevant regulatory standards.
• Avoidance of access risks and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to access workflows, approval chains, and onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with IGA Engineering and IT teams on automation (e.g., PowerShell scripts, provisioning integrations).
• Serve as an operational SME for access management policies and tools.
• Participate in cross-functional projects impacting IGA, such as new application onboarding or security initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and identity governance practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Access Management/IGA Operations, and/or IT Help Desk.
• Proficient in Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra, Single-Sign-On and MFA.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Azure/AWS concepts.
• Strong analytical skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, process documentation, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus when interacting with stakeholders and resolving access-related requests.
• Proficient in Azure AD/Entra, Single-Sign-On and MFA.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Understanding of Azure/AWS concepts.
• Strong analytical skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, process documentation, and project management skills.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $85,000-$121,000, with actual compensation determined by job-related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.

Schedule

This role follows a four day in-office work model at our Chicago or Overland Park, Kansas office.
