IEP Program Support- Service Provider

About the role

Oyster River is seeking a certified special education teacher to provide and implement IEP Program Support with a focus on delivering direct instruction in order to meet the needs of individual students.

Responsibilities

• Provide and implement IEP Program Support.
• Deliver direct instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Consult with teachers based on service needs.

Qualifications

• College degree.
• Special education or related field experience preferred.
• New Hampshire Certified as a Special Education Teacher or Reading Specialist, or Educator with specialized training.
• Training and experience in academic and social/behavioral interventions.
• Ability to collaborate and consult.
• Specialized training in reading instruction focused on multi-sensory, sequential, and explicit methodology.
• Experience with reading programs/approaches such as SPIRE, Wilson, Orton-Gillingham, LIPS.

Pay

Hourly pay at contracted rate.

Schedule

This is an hourly position based on service needs and consulting time with teachers. The position is part-time, but schedule can be discussed with interested candidates.
