Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary field leader for corrective maintenance, service orders, and facility improvement projects.
- Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, materials, and project documentation.
- Serve as the primary customer interface during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, manage maintenance and repair activities, support procurement and budgeting efforts, maintain technical records, and drive successful project delivery.
- Lead and supervise electricians, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and support personnel.
- Troubleshoot, install, repair, test, commission, and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems.
- Plan and coordinate outages, switching operations, system restoration efforts, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities.
- Support project estimating, scheduling, proposal development, mobilization planning, and project startup activities.
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians and electricians.
- Maintain organized project records, technical documentation, and project libraries.
- Participate in customer meetings, Key Project Reviews (KPRs), safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent trade training required.
- Current State of Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License required.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in electrical maintenance, facilities operations, construction, or related technical fields.
- Experience leading maintenance, repair, and construction activities involving electrical and facility systems.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required site access credentials, badges, and security clearances.
