Identity Intelligence Analyst

Leidos has an opportunity for an Identity Intelligence Analyst in our Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA) in McLean, VA. Our team specializes in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

About the role

The Identity Intelligence Analyst will support watchlist or screening and vetting efforts. On the Watchlisting side, this includes receiving, triaging, reviewing, and processing terrorist information/nominations from diverse US Government agencies. The Analyst will examine terrorism information from nominations to export following established criteria, standards, and policies, and make recommendations regarding the nomination and watchlisting process. The Analyst will also support nomination QA/QC reviews.

While supporting the Screening & Vetting mission, the analyst will screen and vet individuals traveling to the US by reviewing non-immigrant and immigrant Visa applicants against TIDE and other IC databases. Responsibilities include using appropriate tools and analytic tradecraft to evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant identity information to reveal foreign traveler links to terrorism for State Department adjudication and watchlisting purposes. This role uses call chain analysis to determine relationships, patterns, trends, indicators, and warnings to identify and report counterterrorism (CT) intelligence gaps.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage, review, and process terrorist information/nominations from US Government agencies.

• Use analytic tradecraft to evaluate, analyze, and integrate identity information to reveal foreign traveler links to terrorism.
• Perform call chain analysis to determine relationships, patterns, trends, indicators, and warnings to identify and report CT intelligence gaps.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• BA degree and 8–12 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s with 6–10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be exchanged for degree requirements.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to meet mission requirements.
• Experience working with MS Office tools.
• Experience working with IC tools and databases.
• Strong problem-solving, analytic, and written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to customer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IC organizations, policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Experience analyzing intelligence reports and cables.

Pay

Pay Range: $92,300.00 – $166,850.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
