IDD Program Specialist Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Program Specialists Supervisor is responsible for the training, development, and quality assurance of Community Homes staff to ensure compliance with licensing regulations, local, state, and federal laws, and Agency policies and procedures. This position oversees the development of Individual Support Plans (ISP), Restrictive Procedure Plans, Social Emotional Environmental Plans, Fade Plans, and Desensitization Plans, and manages the financial aspects of individual accounts. Advocacy for individuals with special needs or intellectual/developmental disabilities is a key part of this role, involving meetings with families, counties, and Supports Coordinators.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
- 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university plus 4 years' experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to articulate information to a diverse audience
- Must secure and maintain training requirements for Crisis Prevention Intervention within three months of hire
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must possess a valid driver's license that legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania and the ability to travel for business using a personal vehicle
- PREFERRED: Two (2) years’ of Supervisory experience
