ICU RN (PT) (Nights)

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac and critical care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Promoting patient and family-centered care
• Educating on illness management
• Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Collaboration with the healthcare team
• Proactive communication
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring critical or surgical recovery interventions
• Educate patients and families on care management and post-treatment needs
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team activities to enhance care quality
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring continuity across care settings

Qualifications and Skills

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety standards
