About the Role

This is a 13-week assignment in the ICU Float Pool at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, CA. You will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients and float to various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill ICU patients.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and Swan Ganz catheters.
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and vasoactive drips.
• Perform cardiac monitoring, interpret ECGs/ABGs, and respond to emergencies.
• Float to ICU, Stepdown, MS/Telemetry, PCU, and Overflow PACU as needed.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Active California RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Experience in a 400+ bed acute care hospital.
• Epic EMR experience.
• PA Line (Swan Ganz) experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN certification.
• Transplant, Cardiac, Neuro, or Trauma ICU experience.
• CRRT and EVD experience.

Additional Notes

• Floating is required.
• Weekend coverage required.
• Flu vaccine mandatory.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
