About the Role

As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care that reflects clinical excellence and supports patients' well-being and recovery, in line with CHI Health's mission and values. Every day you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers, addressing the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team focused on optimal outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong clinical judgment, keen assessment skills, and a patient-first mindset, along with the urgency and dedication needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Follow the nursing process, which includes:

  • Assessment - Demonstrate a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze healthcare consumer data, including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Plan - Set measurable and achievable short- and long-term goals according to standards of care based on the assessment by the nurse in collaboration with the healthcare consumer and multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement - Implement and/or modify the plan of care using assessment data, clinical reasoning based on standards of care and evidence-based practice. This includes care coordination, education, and discharge planning. The nurse is accountable for the care directly, indirectly, or through delegation. Professional and legal standards for delegation must be followed.
  • Evaluate - Use a systematic, ongoing process to evaluate progress toward identified healthcare consumer goals. Revise the plan of care as needed, involving the healthcare consumer and the multidisciplinary team.

Document all phases of the nursing process in the healthcare consumer’s record.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an RN nursing program (required upon hire).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Nebraska (required upon hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification (required upon hire).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 5 months of hire).

Pay

$36.00 - $52.20 per hour.
