ICU Registered Nurses

Description

• Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care
• Collecting patient's health data
• Analyzing assessment data in determining patient problems
• Identifying expected outcomes individualized to the patient
• Developing a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes
• Implementing interventions identified in the plan of care
• Evaluating patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes
• Assisting with the plan of care, evaluating, modifying and coordinating care, and communicating well with other disciplines
• Delegating tasks to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing
• Conducting discharge planning, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, injury prevention, and teaching
• Maintaining confidentiality with all information

Qualifications

• Valid OK or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Valid Allied license in hand if submitting to allied job (please ask AM if unsure)
