Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications
- Change dressings, clean wounds
- Maintain and monitor equipment
- Communicate patient needs to multidisciplinary team
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs
- Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Document patient care activities
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- Associate's degree; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area
- At least one-year clinical nursing preferred
Qualifications
- Experience in ICU setting preferred
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is typically 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
