About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a multidisciplinary ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety and quality initiatives. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to develop and communicate personalized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and population-specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care and education on post-treatment needs and medication management.
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs, preferences, and barriers to involvement in care, ensuring comprehensive communication across the care continuum.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: RN license required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of ICU experience preferred; weekend work optional with incentive.
• Skills: Critical thinking, independent work capability, and strong communication skills.
