About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain practice standards
• Carefully coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred)
• No experience required for new graduates
• Hospital experience is preferred, especially for PRN roles

Required Licenses

• Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
• BCLS certification

Skills

Advanced specialty certifications are a plus.
