ICU Clinical Nurse - Nights

About the role

Provides direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Nursing diploma or Associate’s degree in nursing.
• RN licensure required; BSN preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in ICU and BSN degree are preferred qualifications.
