ICT + Security Designer D2

About the role

Possess / demonstrate the engineering knowledge and understanding to design or analyze data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security systems for the design and installation, of data, telecommunications, fire alarm and security systems/networks using applicable BICSI, ANSI/TIA/EIA guidelines and NFPA -72.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings for construction on CAD system.
• Provide CAD support to more senior staff.
• Communicate and work with all other disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.
• Conduct field measuring and checking at project site.
• Maintain organized project file containing project calculations, correspondence, appropriate reference materials, etc.
• With assistance, edit project specifications.
• Review project submittals (shop drawings) for conformance with contract documents; specify action required for conformance.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required Education and Experience: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or related field, electronic engineering, information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-6 years related experience in data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security engineering field.
• Revit proficiency required.
• RCDD preferred.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and MSWord.
• Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM360.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00. Individual pay is based on factors such as relevant experience, job-related skills, education, and training.
