ICT Lead ( DataCenter Engineering )

About the Role

We are seeking an ICT Lead / Datacenter Engineering professional to serve as the Data Center LV Systems Design Coordination and Commissioning Lead. This role primarily focuses on coordination and oversight, ensuring seamless technical interfaces between subcontractors, trades, and client stakeholders for all low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the discipline subject matter expert for all low voltage scope.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors across overlapping technical scopes; identify scope gaps and duplications before issuance.
• Manage interfaces between BMS, EPMS, telecom, and network layers, including protocol-level integration (BACnet, Modbus, Simple Network Management Protocol).
• Review design documentation for constructability; flag field-execution risks during the design phase.
• Allocate and sequence resources across telecom backbone, small wire, security, audio/visual, and power monitoring workstreams.
• Interface directly with client Information Technology and Security Vice Presidents; translate design intent, field status, and technical risk for executive audiences.
• Produce structured, recurring written reporting to the client on scope status, risks, and decisions required.
• Provide construction oversight through installation.
• Support commissioning, startup, and inter-system integration testing.

Qualifications

• BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) Certification is a significant advantage.
