Responsibilities

• Drive the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet high-quality standards, achieve desired outcomes, and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop innovative and impactful design solutions that elevate the lives of our users/clients.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, such as the TDMM, ANSI/TIA standards, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 72, and local regulations.
• Prepare and review system specifications for ICT systems, including material requirements, installation methods, and performance standards.
• Design telecommunication systems with minimal supervision from senior staff.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure low voltage systems are integrated into the overall building design.
• Direct and mentor designers and junior engineers in the preparation of ICT system designs, specifications, and documentation.
• Plan and direct designers on effective execution of design tasks, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
• Challenge and inspire those around them to grow, thrive, and contribute meaningfully.
• Actively seek out opportunities for professional development and stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Science, or a Technical discipline (preferred).
• 6 to 10 years of telecom, IT, security, or other low-voltage system design experience.
• Proficient in Revit, Revit 360, and MS Office Suite.
• Up to 20% travel depending on project.
• RCDD certification (required); PE license (a plus).
• Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

$110,000 - $160,000 annually.

Work Environment

This position will be in the office in an open office work environment with flexibility. U.S. citizenship is required, and background checks will be performed.
