About the role
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Regional Program Director for our Western region. The ideal candidate will guide appropriate support services for clients with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges living in their homes. Regular travel is involved.
Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and empower program leadership while building a strong, high-performing team culture
- Oversee daily program performance, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and strong financial management
- Maintain high standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and service outcomes
- Identify opportunities for program expansion, strengthen community partnerships, and support strategic growth initiatives
- Address operational challenges with innovative solutions and forward-thinking strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field from a college or university required
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in IDD, HCBS, or community-based services
- Demonstrated experience in program operations, staff supervision, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of NC service definitions, MCO requirements, and HCBS standards
