Ice Hockey, Men's Assistant Coach

Responsibilities

• Assisting the head coach with organizing and directing all aspects of a successful and competitive collegiate program.
• Recruiting qualified student-athletes and ensuring their personal, athletic, and academic success.
• Recruiting, travel management, scheduling, player development, and budget management.

Requirements

• This is a part-time appointment.
• Assist in the recruitment process of prospective qualified student-athletes.
• Afford technical skills at the collegiate level.
• Assist in the development and supervision of practice and game planning.
• Afford assistance with team travel organization.
• Effectively demonstrate compliance with College, NCAA Division III, and GNAC policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required by the Head Men's Hockey Coach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Previous coaching experience at the secondary and/or college level preferred.

Work Environment

The Athletic Department is a fast-paced, intensive, high-energy environment. Coaches and staff work intensive schedules including weekends and evenings.
