About the role
GeoTek is a full-service consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, special inspections, and environmental consulting. We offer a variety of jobs including reinforced concrete, structural masonry, prestressed concrete, fireproofing, residential building, commercial building, structural steel & welding, and structural steel & bolting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct special inspections as per industry standards and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports based on inspection findings.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in special inspections.
- Proficiency in using specialized inspection equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices.
- Knowledge of various types of construction materials and their properties.
- Experience with structural analysis and design principles.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with geotechnical testing methods and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay
$22 - $35 USD
