ICAM Identity Provider (IdP) Engineer – Enterprise Authentication Services

For our client, we are seeking a ICAM Identity Provider (IdP) Engineer – Enterprise Authentication Services to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on designing, administering, and sustaining enterprise identity and authentication services at scale, with support for millions of identities. The engineer will play a key role in federation, access management, and secure sign-in workflows that enable applications and partners to connect reliably. This position partners closely with security and application teams to strengthen authentication controls and improve the user access experience. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $170,000 – $230,000 annually Responsibilities Design and maintain Identity Provider (IdP) services supporting 4 million identities Administer and sustain ADFS infrastructure for enterprise authentication Manage federation trust relationships with various partners Implement and troubleshoot authentication solutions with modern protocols Support onboarding of applications into the authentication ecosystem Develop authentication policies and authorization workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide secure authentication services Qualifications Active Secret Clearance required; no interim clearances allowed Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 8+ years supporting Identity Access Management (IAM) or related solutions Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) Experience with MFA solutions and PKI Benefits Flexible work weeks and remote work options 15 days of paid leave and 10 paid holidays per year Paid parental, military, and bereavement leave available 401(k) plan with company match and various medical options Short- and long-term disability benefits, life insurance, and accident insurance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
