About the role
Summary Of Objective: Set up, install, and maintain electrical control systems including Servo systems, OITs, PLCs, loop controllers, sensors, ID readers, vision systems, VF and DC drives, labelers, lasers, thermal and inkjet printers, and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Check power and wiring
- Perform power up procedures
- Fire laser and ensure code is printing properly
- Install and incorporate modules into machines
- Service equipment and correct any identified issues
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical devices in AC/DC control circuits
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting equipment drawings
- Knowledge of calibration procedures and certifications
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical component diagnostics
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Knowledge of pneumatic components and diagrams
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and tools
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Knowledge of machine/equipment knowledge
- Knowledge of packaging techniques
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- Knowledge of power tools and operation
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance
- Knowledge of production processes
- Knowledge of servo drives and vision-systems
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training
- Basic mathematical skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
- Very high reasoning ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to present information to various people as the job requires
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Pay
$24.58 - $27.65 per hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
