IBM Sterling OMS Tech Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Tech Lead with 10+ years of experience in eCommerce and retail order management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS), Multi-Channel Fulfillment, Inventory Fulfillment, Store Engagement, and Call Center. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, customizing, and integrating Sterling OMS solutions for complex omnichannel retail environments. Strong experience with Sterling APIs, database, UI customization, user exits, agents, web services, testing, deployment, and technical leadership is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement eCommerce solutions using IBM Sterling OMS.
• Analyze high-level business requirements and translate them into scalable Omnichannel Order Management solutions.
• Develop and customize applications using the IBM Sterling Order Management System.
• Design and implement IBM Sterling Multi-Channel Fulfillment solutions.
• Work with IBM Store Engagement and IBM Call Center implementations.
• Design, configure, and extend Sterling OMS for complex retail and eCommerce requirements.
• Develop solutions using the IBM Sterling Inventory Fulfillment Suite.
• Perform hands-on customization and extension of Sterling OMS APIs, database, UI, user exits, and agents.
• Design and implement complex integrations and Web Services.
• Develop tools and processes for automated testing and application deployment.
• Support UAT, QA, performance testing, and resolution of functional/non-functional issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Sterling-based applications.
• Follow SDLC best practices throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Evaluate and implement new Sterling OMS technologies and product versions where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and implementation best practices.
• Act as a Technical Lead for Sterling OMS eCommerce projects within the retail industry.
• Mentor and guide junior developers and technical resources on Sterling OMS development and best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver successful OMS solutions.
