IAM Lead

About the role

The IAM Lead is responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing the identity and access management platform within a federal cloud environment. They will oversee the full identity lifecycle, enforce secure authentication methods, define Zero Trust access policies, and manage privileged accounts using PAM and just-in-time elevation. The role involves federating external identities, supporting compliance activities, integrating applications with identity protocols, and monitoring security events.

Requirements

• 7+ years in IAM engineering, with at least 3 years hands-on experience with Entra ID or Okta in production.
• Experience implementing NIST identity assurance levels and federating external identities.
• Strong knowledge of security standards, access policies, and incident response.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance required.

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified and Okta Certified Administrator.

Schedule

This position is remote-friendly with occasional onsite requirements in the Washington, DC area.
