Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions using Okta and Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID.
- Manage user identities, roles, groups, permissions, and access policies.
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), federation, and authentication protocols such as SAML and OAuth/OIDC.
- Automate identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
- Integrate enterprise applications with IAM platforms.
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and access-related issues.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege principles.
- Monitor IAM environments and investigate security or access anomalies.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams.
- Support IAM audits, security controls, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2–7 years of experience in IAM, Identity Security, or Cybersecurity Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Okta.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID.
- Understanding of IAM concepts, identity lifecycle management, RBAC, SSO, and MFA.
- Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise authentication environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with security and IT infrastructure teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IAM automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with privileged access management (PAM).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Relevant certifications such as Okta certifications, Microsoft identity certifications, Security+, or CISSP are a plus.
