What You'll Do
- Electrical Systems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment including motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, lighting, and power distribution systems.
- Instrumentation: Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters; control valves, valve positioners, actuators, and solenoids; analytical and detection instruments.
- Process Control & Automation: Maintain and troubleshoot plant process control systems including DCS, PLCs, HMIs, and associated I/O; support control loop performance through testing, tuning, and optimization; perform I/O verification, loop checks, and functional testing for new or modified control systems.
What You'll Need
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certification preferred; 1–2 years’ experience as an I&E Technician in an industrial manufacturing environment; chemical or continuous process experience preferred; demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical systems, process instrumentation and calibration, PLC/DCS-based control systems, ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control narratives, cause-and-effect diagrams, and electrical drawings; familiarity with hazardous area classifications and intrinsically safe systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification; experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or specialty chemical operations; experience with specific DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., Emerson, Honeywell, Rockwell, Siemens); experience with CMMS systems such as SAP or Maximo; NFPA 70E electrical safety training or certification.
